Rough week... :(

Could this get any worse?!??!?!? As I was coming to class on Monday my car broke down and had no way to get to class, how does a 2010 Fusion break down? Not only did I miss the whole week of last weeks class sessions because of my car but on top of that we had a death in our family on Tuesday and could not make it to class on Wednesday. My power went out due to this appalling heat and could not even finish my definition paper that was due Wednesday night. Seriously do I sound like a LUCKY person or what? After getting our power back we noticed a leak in our Air conditioner and recently just fixed it. THANK GOD! I was staying at a friends house due to the heat.. horrible lol.  I couldn't due my weekly blog updates cause i wasn't in class last week and did not have a clue what was going on.. :( well i guess everything happens for a reason and i hope i can get on track and catch up with things soon. I will be seeing you lovely class mates on Monday. Thanks for listening to my stressful week.

Technology

Technology can mean something different to every person you ask. Technology today as changed the way we live greatly, it had changed the way we communicate the way we research something the way we talk on the phone or even type a paper. The word technology is Greek and means art, skill, craft and study of.. Technology to me means everything that is man-made that we can talk on, bridges, light bulbs, televisions, big tall buildings, and pretty much anything involving computers and such. Technology is very creative and the more high tech things come out these days, everyone wants to be part of the "new" technology and have the newest Iphone, Ipad, cars, cameras, weapons, 3D T.V's, and etc.  If you ask 10 people what technology meant to them they would all say something different but most likely all say something along the lines of, high technology such as computers and cell phones. Believe it or not the first technological tool was the hand-axes made millions of years ago. As much as we I hear technology can be bad and blah blah blah, yeah it can be bad with all the social networks out there that little kids are on for long periods of times and lacking sleep from this. Technology as well stimulates the brain and helps kids learn faster and gets them an idea or the higher technology we are being exposed to everyday. So I guess technology can be as much bad as it is good these days.
